Little Girls are so fun!

I have become an aunty over the last two years and I never knew I could love two little girls so much. Makenna is now 1 1/2 running around, starting to talk, and grabbing everything. My mom said Makenna is just like me when I was her age,which means she is a little ballbuster hahahaha! Mikaia is the sweatest thing in the whole world and pushing eight months! She is growing so fast and can tell already that, she is going to have a sweet and gentle spirit. My nieces inspired me to look at chic baby nurseries and did I found some great ones!!!! Enjoy!

I like to think Makenna (aka Munchkin) takes after me, she is a rascal and tends to make a mess! I haven't seen her running around yet which is going to be a trip, the last time I saw her see was crawling. Can't wait!!

It's crazy how much Mikaia (aka Mikaia Bear) reminds me of my little sister Meili when she was a Baby. Its so funny to see Mikaia's personality, she is quiet and sweet but I can tell her goofy side is coming out. Lets face it, Nate is her dad so how can she not be goofy and fun.

What is it about the color yellow that makes you want to smile? Especially this gold yellow! Love the flooring and so in love with the Gold decals!!!!

I know all these rooms are very girlie but this room was so fun I had to put in on my list. My favorite part is the letters on the wall!


I never really thought about nursery design because obviously I don't have kids!!!! My nieces make me want to create a nursery especially a little girls one. So all you moms go create a perfect space for your little ones. Sounds like so much fun!

Love is in the air!

It's always funny to see what everyone's take is on Valentines Day. Some people love Valentines Day and plan these spectacular days while others think its just another made up holiday to make more money on. Well I say its both! I love Valentines day because it gives you a chance to do something special for someone you care about boyfriends, girlfriends, best friends, and anyone else. I love making homemade cards and little gifts for my girlfriends but yes it is a total money making day that can get pretty ridiculous. Any who, here are some great ideas that I LOVED and make me feel gitty inside.

Once again Martha has come up with some amazing ideas. I wonder how many people work on coming up with crafts and how awesome would it be to be those people? The pic on the top is handmade tie bag for traveling to keep your ties nice and neat. On the bottom is a homemade I LOVE YOU card.

I was browsing on one of my favorite sites etsy and found this Love and Sonet print that was just to adorable!

OK Martha seriously I LOVEEEEE these and are going to attempt to make these. These are conversation heart cookies packaged in cute bags that are sewen shut!

If you haven't noticed I'm little Miss. Fairytale Princess type of girl so naturally I let out a big, "ahhhh," when I saw this card on etsy.

I hope you enjoyed some of my favorite Valentines ideas but one last thing before I go.

Displaying Memories

Before digital cameras happened I feel like it was more normal to have your pictures developed and you had tons of photo albums laying around the house. Digital cameras changed everything, at least for me, all of my photos are on my computer and never looked at. I love looking at peoples photos as they share a timeline of the family, happy moments, and art. One of my favorite things is filling walls with lots of memories and mixing with different frames and art pieces. Here are some inspiring walls with tons of memories that I wanted to share.

Here's a tip for hanging many picture frames. Cut out paper the same size as the frames and place them on the wall before hammering nails all over the wall. Also be creative with your frames, different shapes, sizes, and textures always make it more original.
